The breakfast was delightful—fresh-brewed coffee paired with bread, jam, and a splash of fruit juice to kickstart your day! Jose and Liz’s hospitality made every moment feel like a cozy family gathering.
While we imagined enjoying sunsets in a garden, the reality was a yard too small for relaxation—just enough room for a car. To catch those mountain views, a little journey beyond the property was needed.

A Serene Getaway with Room for Improvement
The cozy double room offered a peaceful retreat, but the promised mountain view was misleading. Future guests should explore local attractions and enjoy dining options nearby. An upgrade in outdoor space could really enhance the experience.

What shines and what doesn’t
Liz and José are exceptionally great hosts who treat you like family. breakfast is fresh and tasty, making mornings delightful. The cozy nature of the place adds warmth to the stay.
The first impression can be misleading as a two-night stay experienced inconsistent service. The comfort level in the room did not meet the expectations set by other aspects.

Staying at Dondejose was a fantastic experience! Jose and Liz are wonderful hosts who made us feel like family. The breakfast options were delicious—great bread, fresh fruit juice, and superb coffee! Plus, having access to a fully equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up our meals. The location is perfect, just a short walk to both the local supermarket and hiking trails. Jose even joined us on one hike, sharing his local knowledge, which made it even more enjoyable.
The noise from the residential road might be a concern for light sleepers.

Hosts exude warmth and make you feel at home, creating a cozy family atmosphere. The newly baked homemade bread at breakfast was a delightful touch, adding comfort to each morning. However, the shared bathroom setup can be a challenge, especially if occupied by others, and the available outdoor space does not really allow for relaxation, which might limit enjoyment. Additionally, the proximity to hiking trails can be misleading if you rely solely on nearby attractions.

Had an amazing time enjoying hearty breakfasts and using the well-equipped kitchen to whip up a few meals. The cozy backyard was perfect for sipping coffee in the mornings and unwinding after hikes. Just a heads-up, while everything worked well, it's not a luxury resort experience, but that didn't take away from our fun stay! 🌄
